Legal
Terms &
Conditions.
Effective: June 2025
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the Mise en Place platform ("Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you are registering on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
2. Description of service
Mise en Place provides a cloud-based hospitality operations platform including QR-code ordering, kitchen management, analytics, and optional add-on modules. The Service is provided on a subscription basis. Features available depend on the plan and add-ons active on your account.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@miseenplace.network if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Core platform access is free. Optional add-on modules are billed as monthly subscriptions via Stripe. Subscription fees are charged in advance. If payment fails, access to the relevant add-on will be suspended until payment is resolved. You may cancel an add-on subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of the Service;
- Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
6. Data and privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Guest order data belongs to the venue operator. We act as a data processor for guest data and as a data controller for account and billing data.
7. Intellectual property
All software, designs, and content comprising the Service are owned by or licensed to Mise en Place. Your venue's menu content, images, and branding remain your property. You grant us a limited licence to display your content solely to operate the Service.
8. Uptime and support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is communicated in advance where possible. Support is provided by email during business hours (CET).
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mise en Place shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion; you may request an export during this period.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered account holders by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam.
